Easy Ways to Earn Coins in Tetris Blitz
We list simple methods that will help you never run out of Coins again!
For those of you who’ve played Tetris Blitz for any length of time, you’ll know the game has a version of currency known as Coins. These Coins can be used to purchase Power-Ups and Finishers.
Both Power-Ups and Finishers are essential towards earning the highest score possible in Tetris Blitz. If you run out of Coins, though, you won’t be able to purchase new Power-Ups and Finishers. So, how do you go about earning more Coins? Let’s take a look at a few simple methods!
Clear Golden Minos

One way to consistently earn Coins in Tetris Blitz is by clearing Golden Minos during a match. Golden Minos are blocks with small Coins inside of them. By clearing a line with one of these Golden Minos in it, you’ll earn Coins. The more Golden Minos you clear in a match, the more Coins you’ll earn at the end.
To avoid running out of Coins, try to limit the amount of Power-Ups and Finishers you purchase. If you’re running low, play a few matches without equipping a Power-Up or Finisher. Sure, you won’t get that huge score boost, but you’ll nevertheless be able to bump up your Coins enough to afford Power-Ups and Finishers later on.
Level Up

Another way you can earn Coins in Tetris Blitz is by leveling up. Every time you level up, you’re given Coins as a reward. To level up in the game, you need to earn the amount of XP required for the next level.You can level up quicker by playing more Battles and Tournaments.
Equipping 3 Power-Ups and a Finisher in a game also gives you more XP enabling you to level up faster. Again, Power-Ups and Finishers are crucial to earning high scores in Tetris Blitz.
However, if you’re running low on Coins, you can still earn XP by playing through matches without having Power-Ups and Finishers equipped. To check how much XP you need to level up, tap on the green arrow next to the crown symbol at the top. This will show you your level, and how much XP is needed to level up.
Play Gold Rush
Every time you level up in the game, you are rewarded with a bonus game called Gold Rush. In Gold Rush, you play Tetris Blitz with just Golden Minos. The goal is to clear as many of them as you can in order to earn the most Coins in a 30 second game.
TIP: Clearing Golden Minos with a Tetris Line Clear gives you the highest amount of Coins per clear.
Complete Achievements
A great way to earn a lot of Coins is by completing achievements. Each one of the 13 achievements has three tiers of rewards, which means you can earn up to 39 Coin rewards from here!
Bonus Blitz
Every 4 hours in the game you can claim a free reward from the Bonus Blitz. The Bonus Blitz is the Tetris Blitz version of a slot machine in which you must try to stop the reward selection slot on the rewards that you yearn for.
Winning in Tournaments
The biggest Coin rewards in the game are from the Tournaments. The Coin quantities in this mode are in the tens and hundreds of thousands for standing in the Top 3, 10, 25 or sometimes even further positions in different Tournaments. You have anywhere between 4 to 6 Tournaments a day to choose from and play.
TIP: There are more Tournaments with higher rewards during the weekend!
Completing Battle Quests
When you win 3 competitive Battles within 48 hours, you can complete the Battle Quest. On completing the Battle Quest, you will be rewarded with a Mystery Box from the Battle tier you’re in. Each Mystery Box contains Coins and Power-Ups/Finishers.
TIP: Higher Battle tiers reward you with bigger and better rewards.
Completing Daily Challenges
Completing Daily Challenges rewards the player with a Coin reward. There are three levels of Daily Challenges. Rewards start from 4,000 Coins for Challenge 1 to 10,000 Coins for Challenge 2 and going up to 30,000 Coins for Challenge 3. That’s a whooping 44,000 Coins that you can earn completing Daily Challenges every single day!
Limited Time Events
The game has limited time events in Tournaments known as Blitz Grandmasters. During the event, you can play Tournaments and collect points to climb up the tiers. Win assured prizes by collecting 50+ points. Higher tiers have higher rewards.
TIP: Earn your place among the Top 100 players on the leaderboard to win a mega reward. The Top 3 players of the season are permanently celebrated in the Grandmasters Hall of Fame!
Rewarded Video Ads
You can also watch Ads from the Free Coins button to earn Coins in the game. This can come in handy when you’re just falling short of a few thousand Coins that you need to equip a certain Power-Up that is going to make a difference, and lead you on to the quest for glory in Tetris Blitz!
Beat Other Players on the Weekday Leaderboard

As you play through matches in Tetris Blitz, you’ll have the chance to build upon your high score. If your high score surpasses one or more players on the Weekday Leaderboard, you’ll earn Coins.
To view the Weekday Leaderboard, simply click on the blue Weekday Leaderboard banner to expand it. On the right, you’ll see the amount of Coins you can earn by beating that particular player.
Once you beat players on the Weekday Leaderboard, you’ll be able to go back and check where you rank and who’s left to beat. Overall, the Weekday Leaderboard is a great way to mix competition and Coin earning in Tetris Blitz.

Finally, the easiest way to get more Coins in Tetris Blitz is by purchasing them. To purchase Coins, tap on the plus sign near your Coin bank. This will take you to a screen where you can purchase Coins in bundles.
