Tetris Named Best Interactive or Digital Brand for Second Year Running

The Tetris Company celebrates back-to-back recognition at the 2026 Licensing International Excellence Awards

We are proud to announce that Tetris® has been named Best Interactive or Digital Brand at the 2026 Licensing International Excellence Awards — the second consecutive year the brand has taken home the honor in one of the licensing industry's most prestigious competitions.

The award was presented in Las Vegas just ahead of Licensing Expo, the largest global event dedicated to licensing and brand extension. This year's winners were chosen from 223 finalists across 35 categories, drawn from more than 800 submissions reviewed by a global panel of roughly 300 judges representing 20 countries. To stand out among that field — and to do so two years in a row — reflects the strength and reach of the Tetris brand more than four decades after its creation.

"Winning Best Interactive or Digital Brand two years in a row is a testament to the passion of our partners and team, and the enduring love fans around the world have for Tetris," said Maya Rogers, President and CEO of The Tetris Company. "We are incredibly proud to be recognized by Licensing International alongside the best in the industry."

The recognition caps a landmark year spanning digital entertainment, consumer products, and retail collaborations. Highlights included Tetris Time Warp on Netflix, Puyo Puyo Tetris™ 2S for Nintendo Switch 2, Tetris Tumble XL, and the Tetris Rubik's Cube — partnerships that continue to bring the iconic Tetriminos to new audiences and new formats across the globe.

As Tetris moves forward, The Tetris Company remains committed to creative, high-quality collaborations that honor the brand's legacy while pushing it into fresh and unexpected places. The team extends its sincere thanks to Licensing International, its partners worldwide, and the fans who have kept the blocks falling for over 40 years.
